Experience:
Erin started training in 4-H dog obedience with her family dog. When she got her first dog, a female basset hound named Harding, she realized that she wanted to do more. Harding and Erin started in agility, and never looked back. Erin started assisting the class instructor and learning how to teach people to play the game. From agility, they moved on to flyball which is her main dog activity now. Harding went to the bridge December of 2004 with two flyball titles (FD and FDX) and an agility title (NJP). Harding still holds the rank of #3 basset in North American flyball. Erin also owned a mixed breed named Elwood who she competed with in flyball. Elwood was the dog that got her hooked on the sport of flyball. Elwood earned his ONYX title in flyball, after running for 9 years. He joined Harding at the bridge in June of 2005. Erin now has four rescued Australian Shepherds that own her: three of them currently play flyball and are titled in the sport, and one is in training. Erin is the owner and captain of Two-Lane Highway flyball team (based at Fidos). All of her dogs are trained in agility, and also enjoy other sports; K-9 disc, carting, and tracking. Erin is also an Assistance Dog Trainer with Fidos, and has been training a border collie who will be a Service Dog.
