The Handlers Class is a required class for all new Therapy Dog teams and is scheduled every 6 to 8 weeks. It is a class that reviews the Fidos organization and mission, regulations, deportment for handlers and dogs, information for all types of therapy visits, demos, events and any additional questions. The Handler's Class is a one time requirement for any TD handler or dogless handler and is generally 2 hrs in length including a facility tour and website review. The class also includes information about hospital signage, hand washing and facility visit regulations.
