Nicholas Rough Coated White Collie

Born on August 11, 2002, Nicholas (Nick) became a therapy dog when he was only 5 months old. He has been awarded the AKC's Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dogs International certificates. Each year Nicholas has done over 75 visits to different facilities; in fact he has received Fidos "Most Therapy Visits" for the years 2004 and 2005. He visits Brooke Grove Assisted Living and Nursing Home, Holy Cross Hospital, Montgomery General Hospital, The Children's House at Johns Hopkins Hospital, The University of Maryland Medical Center and works actively with the students at Bond Mill Elementary School and The East Columbia Library in the DEAR program. He also participates in numerous info booths and demos. His winning and affectionate nature and his tremendous love of people make him a "hit" wherever he goes.
