Wicksway Spinner is a Border Collie and was born on February 9, 1997. He joined Fidos in 1999 and earned his CGC and TDI in 2000. He is very sweet, but obsessive as most border collies are. He does not have sheep to herd, so his job is to catch balls and frisbees and anything else that can be thrown! He is very tolerant of dressing up in costume and loves to do tricks when he visits residents at healthcare facilities. He enjoys agility classes and will be competing in the near future. He is very intelligent and likes to show off by doing some of the service dog tasks at home; however, we are grateful that he decided to stop opening the refrigerator door on his own! Currently, Spinner visits at Holy Cross Rehab and Hillhaven Nursing Home. He enjoys working with the junior volunteers, substitutes in the DEAR program and does many demos when a "trick" dog is needed.
