Labrador Retriever

My name is Tori and I am a 4 year old Labrador Retriever. I am a Fidos Therapy Dog and I love my job of visiting with people in nursing homes and hospitals. I am always so happy to see everyone that I just wiggle all over when I meet them. I came to Fidos as a puppy and was suppose to be a service dog fora Fidos client. When I had a problem with my elbow, my trainers decided that I would be better suited as a therapy dog and I ended up in a great home with my favorite trainer who is now my Mom!

I also work at Fidos as a demo dog and I help my Mom by teaching the new clients how to work with a service or hearing dog. Its lots of fun to show off for a new puppy in training that my Mom brings home by running over and opening the refrigerator door while the new pup watches. I am helping my Mom teach the new pup in training special skills.

I also have a place on the Chesapeake Bay and me and my big brother Link swim every weekend in the summer. I can't wait to have someone toss my tennis ball in the water so I can jump in after it. Life is great!
